In the second quarter of 2025, the top communication apps in Central America showed varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at the data provided by Sensor Tower.

Telegram from Telegram FZ-LLC saw its weekly revenue rise steadily, peaking at approximately $77.5K by the end of June. Downloads fluctuated, with a notable high of around 315K in mid-May. However, active users experienced a gradual decline from 27M at the start of the quarter to about 26.3M by the end.

Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out by Discord Inc. had a modest revenue increase, reaching about $27.8K in the last week of June. Downloads peaked at 122K in mid-June, while active users climbed from 4.1M to 4.4M over the quarter.

Cafe - Live video chat from Live Technologies Co. saw a consistent increase in revenue, ending the quarter at around $11.4K.
